Description: It is similar to the damaru yantra except the hearth (chula). Hearth as 4 openings to insert the wood from all four sides. Two pots of same dimensions are taken First pot is kept straight and the other pot is kept inverted on the first pot. The place where the pots mouth meet are sealed using mud smeared cloth2. The material which is to be heated is kept in the lower pot and heated by keeping it on hearth. Some authors are of the opinion that the upper pot should kept such that base of the upper pot is in contact with mouth of the lower pot and sandhibandhana2 is done using cloth and multani mitti. And then upper pot is filled with water which helps sublimation of parada.
